Iowa linebacker Troy Johnson was named the Big Ten co-Defensive Player of the Week on Sunday.
He becomes the eighth Hawkeye to earn the honor this season. He shared this week’s defensive honor with Penn State linebacker Navorro Bowman.
Johnson had 11 tackles and a sack. He forced a fumble and fell on it for the recovery and was credited with breaking up a pass during Iowa’s win over Minnesota.
