LANSING, Mich., — The Swing of the Quad-Cities hung tightly with the Lansing Lugnuts all the way to the 12th inning when the Swing were able to break the tie, score eight runs and win the game 8-0.
Bryan Anderson, Daryl Jones and Casey Rowlett each got two RBIs while Chad Gabriel and Mark Hamilton each knocked in a run to lift the Swing to their victory Friday night.
The Swing were able to pull into first place in the West after the Kane County Cougars lost to the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays 4-0.
