This year marks the first time board members will be elected to four-year seats, after the lawmakers did away with three-year terms and yearly elections. School elections will now take place in odd-numbered years.

Candidates had to file with school districts by the end of the day Thursday. The elections are scheduled for Sept. 8.

Davenport

Clinton Community

FIVE CANDIDATES FOR FOUR SEATS: Mercia Wolf (incumbent), Dan Collins, Missey Sullivan-Pope, Gregg Obren and Jack Wenzel.
