Genesis Medical Center will demonstrate the da Vinci surgery system at a public open house from 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the main lobby of Genesis East campus, 1227 E. Rusholme St., Davenport. Visitors should use the south entrance and follow the signs.

Da Vinci is sometimes referred to as "robotic surgery," but the surgeon controls the movements of the micro-instruments.
