MORRISON, Ill. - A construction worker who was killed in a worksite accident Wednesday in Morrison has been identified as Michael S. Holloway, 44, of Rock Falls.

The accident occurred about 11:05 a.m. at a road construction site on U.S. 30 at Milnes Drive, according to the Morrison Police Department.

Dump truck driver Erwin H. Stralow, 75, of Morrison was backing up his truck when he struck Holloway, who was working as a flagger for Northwest Illinois Construction of Rock Falls.

Holloway was pinned under the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed, and the accident remains under investigation.
