The Scott County Health Department will host more clinics to dispense the H1N1 flu vaccine Thursday through Saturday at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.
The events will be 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. all three days. The clinics will be in the Expo Building, just west of the grandstand at the fairgrounds, 2815 W. Locust St.
Call (563) 326-8618 to schedule an appointment. There is no cost.
Vaccines will be provided for the priority groups identified by the federal government. Those include:
• Pregnant women
• Household contacts and caregivers of children younger than 6 months old
• Healthy children, 6 months to 4 years old
• Individuals with chronic medical conditions, ages 6 months to 64 years old
Those conditions include chronic pulmonary or cardiovascular disease, excluding high blood pressure; kidney, liver and neurologic/neuromuscular diseases; cognitive impairments; blood and metabolic disorders, and those with immuno-suppression issues.
