Ada Mae McCray

MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Ada Mae McCray, 94, of Mount Carroll, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1996, at her home in Mount Carroll.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carroll.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Ada Mae Jones was born Jan. 13, 1902, in Woodland Township, rural Mount Carroll.

She married James McCray in 1919 in Chicago. He died in 1965.

A memorial fund has been established.

Survivors include daughters, Kathleen Woodley, Pekin, Marjorie Buckwalter and Virginia Gedgate, both of Mount Carroll; sons, Joseph, Mount Carroll, and Robert, Westminster, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Richter and Florence Lantz, both of Mount Carroll; and a brother, Thomas Jones, Davis.
