CLINTON, Iowa — Services for Donald J. King, 70, of 1522 N. 4th St., will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, with a parish Scripture service at 7 p.m.
Mr. King died Friday, March 5, 1999, at his home.
He had worked and retired from Champion and Waldorf companies, both in Clinton.
He was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Clinton. He married JoAnn Arlen in 1992 in Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Visiting Nurses Association Hospice.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Patrick, stepdaughters, Mary Arlen and Deborah Meeker, and stepsons, Stephen and Mark Arlen and Robert "Bud" VanHorn, all of Clinton; four grandchildren; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Mr. King was preceded in death by a son, Michael King, June 1, 1998.
