3 face charges in vandalism spree in Davenport

Three people have been charged in a weekend vandalism spree in north Davenport.

Charged with 1st degree criminal mischief, a felony, are Jacob Owen, 18, 5009 Ripley St., Eric Aaseby, 16, 5817 Fillmore St., and John E. Lund, 15, 1721 West 69th St.

According to Davenport police, 14 homes in the area of the 1300 block of West 60th Street were spray painted sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 6:40 a.m. Saturday. The vandalism included pictures, profanity, obscenities and random squiggles.

The juveniles have been turned over to their parents to await further Juvenile Court action; Owen is in the Scott County Jail, bond set at $5,000.
