Silver Sneakers hosts senior fitness event

Fitness activities and contests, an awards ceremony and potluck are all planned to celebrate Silver Sneakers’ third anniversary Aug. 1 at West Family YMCA, 3503 West Locust St., Davenport.
Scott Family Y is hosting Senior Olympics with an

Silver Sneakers Fitness Program is a blend of physical activity, healthy lifestyle and socially oriented programming for older adults supported by Humana Health Insurance. Humana’s subscribers receive a free basic Scott County Family Y membership with access to exercise equipment, classes, swimming pools, hot tubs and saunas.
