Police investigating accident in Bettendorf

Bettendorf police are investigating a two-vehicle accident at 8:55 a.m. Friday between a semi and a Jeep Cherokee.
The Jeep, driven by a 45-year-old man, was traveling east on U.S. 67 when it crossed the center lane divider and struck a semi trailer that was traveling west on U.S. 67. The semi was driven by a 48-year-old man.
The driver of the Jeep was transported by Medic Ambulance to Genesis Medical Center. The semi driver was not injured.
