Workshop will address Iowa smoking ban

The Iowa Consortium for Comprehensive Cancer Control will host a workshop Monday for business owners that addresses Iowa’s  Smoke-Free Air Law, which goes into effect July 1.

The Iowa Communications Network, or ICN, will provide live feeds to several locations, including the ICN room at the Davenport Public Library, 321 Main St. Other sites include Bellevue High School; Clinton Community College, Room 105; and Muscatine Community College, Larson Hall.

The broadcast will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and the Iowa Department of Public Health will highlight the draft administrative rules and enforcement of the law.  There is no fee but participants must register by Friday. People can register at cleanairforevery one.org or by calling
