Good morning, Quad-Cities. At 5:49 a.m., it is 55 degrees under clear skies. Today, we can expect a high near 78 degrees with sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, it will be clear with a low around 54 degrees.

The Mississippi River is still receding in the Quad-Cities. At 2 a.m., the river was at 21.23 feet at Lock and Dam 15. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Here is a look at where other area rivers are at this morning …

•  Wapsipinicon River at Dewitt: 13.75 feet; flood stage is 11.0 feet

•  Rock River at Moline: 14.87 feet; flood stage is 12.0 feet

•  Iowa River at Columbus Junction: 29.08 feet; flood stage is 19.0 feet

•  Cedar River at Cedar Rapids: 18.89 feet; flood stage is 12.0 feet
