A Lerner and Loewe classic kicks off the summer season for Quad-City Music Guild.
“My Fair Lady,” presented for the fourth time in the Music Guild’s 60-season history, tells of Professor Henry Higgins (Mark McGinn) wagering that he can turn flower girl Eliza Doolittle (Jenny Winn) into a proper lady. John VanDeWoestyne, Harold Truitt, Nick Munson and Erin Lounsberry are among the other cast members in the show that includes tunes such as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” and “Get Me to the Church on Time.”
Performances are in Moline’s Prospect Park Auditorium June 13-22.
