Recent Clinton college grad wins $50,000 in lottery

CLINTON, Iowa — It’s been a memorable month for Shane Dixon of Clinton, who recently won $50,000 on an instant-scratch game a few weeks after graduating from college, according to the Iowa Lottery.
Dixon, 23, bought his winning ticket at the Hy-Vee in Clinton. He plans to buy a new car and pay off some of his school loans with his winnings.
