Alzheimer’s Association offers caregiver classes

The Alzheimer’s Association is offering free community education on creating safe environments for people with dementia.

The class will be offered from noon to 3 p.m. at these dates and locations:

n Friday, May 30, Country Bank Community Room, 1308 SE 4th St., Aledo, Ill.

n Thursday, June 5, Moline Public Library, 3210 41st St.

n Friday, June 6, Black Hawk College Community Education Center, 404 E. 3rd St., Kewanee, Ill.

The class will begin with a complimentary lunch, followed by presentations by the Alzheimer’s Association and Alternatives for the Older Adult, and a demonstration of various safety products provided by the Alzheimer’s Store.
