The Government Bridge over the Mississippi River will be closed from 6 p.m. to 4:15 a.m., May 27 through July 14, for repairs to its curbs.

The repairs, which come after a recent bridge inspection, are routine and non-structural, according to a news release from the Rock Island Arsenal.

The Davenport entrance to Rock Island Arsenal will be closed while the bridge is closed. The Rock Island gate will remain open in place of the Davenport entrance. The Moline gate will also be open.
