Robber hits RI convenience store

A Rock Island convenience store was robbed early today.
Rock Island police were called at 12:30 a.m. to the Git-N-Go store at 4319 6th Ave.
Police said say an armed, white male entered the store and demanded money.
The suspect fled on foot.
Rock Island police are investigating the incident.
This is the second time this month the convenience store has been robbed. The store was robbed at gunpoint on May 5.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery are asked to call the Rock Island police at 732-2704.
