On April 25, we were monitoring the National Weather Service river levels, as we always do this time of year. After 1993, 1997, and 2001, we know the signs: too much rain, too much snow, ground saturation.

We are one of the first ones under water because of sewer backup. We called for 10,000 sandbags and sand, we had until 7 p.m. Sunday to erect a wall.

We would like to thank our employees, friends, family, customers and volunteers who helped us meet this deadline. We did not have any berms, walls, or pre-filled bags to help us; only the love and devotion of these wonderful people.
