EM girl struck by vehicle

A six-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in East Moline.
The accident happened at 6:56 p.m. in the 700 block of 20th Street., according to a news release by the East Moline Police Department.
The unidentified girl was transported to Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, in Silvis, Ill. Her condition is unavailable, but believed to be non-life threatening.
The driver of the vehicle, Nathan Luten, 18, no address listed, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
