Davenport police have released a photograph from videotape of a suspect believed to be involved in a robbery earlier this week at the ATC Mart, 214 Myrtle St.
Police say the robbery happened at 9:57 a.m. Monday when a male black, described as in his 20s, medium height and build and wearing a hoodie and a dark-colored coat, took a large denomination bill from the clerk of the mini-mart.
The clerk attempted to hold onto the currency, but the bill was ripped in two and the suspect fled with the larger part of the bill. No weapon was displayed.
No one was injured in the robbery.
Evidence from the scene is being processed and witnesses are being located and interviewed, police said. A videotape also is being examined in hopes of identifying a suspect.
The investigation is continuing.
