I have a very strong opinion on immigration. I think that the government should make it easier for people to come to the United States.
Most of the immigrants want to come here to have better lives for themselves and their families. If the person doesn’t have a criminal background, I don’t see why he or she shouldn’t be allowed to come to America.
Most immigrants come here illegally because it is so hard for them to get sponsored or to get a visa. Even if they do get a visa, it’s only for a certain amount of time after which they could be sent back. It’s just not fair to these people who come here illegally and then start families because some of them will always be worrying about how long they have left to stay here.
Some people might have the opinion that if people are from other countries, they shouldn’t be here. I think those people just don’t have open minds and don’t want to think about change. The world needs change, we can’t just have everything stay the same forever, because then we wouldn’t live in the world we do today.
