DURANT, Iowa — City officials in Durant are investigating city clerk Carla Graves, who was suspended April 9.
City Administrator Greg LaFord said Friday he could not comment on Graves’ suspension or a review of her that a committee started on Wednesday.
LaFord said he, the city’s attorney and two City Council members are on the committee, which will present its findings at the Council’s meeting on Tuesday, May 6.
Graves was hired in July 1999, and was working 40 hours a week. She was paid $18.72 per hour, LaFord said.
