Recipients of the 2008 Quad-Cities Area Leaders Under 40 award will be honored at an event at 6 p.m. April 10 at the i wireless Center in Moline.
Launched six years ago by the Black Hawk College Foundation, Quad-Cities Leaders Under 40 was created to honor younger community leaders.
This year’s recipients include Nicole Carkner of Quad-City Health Initiative; Cathy Edwards of Edwards Creative Services; Phil Fuhr of Fuhr Family Farms; Bob Gallagher Jr. of Gallagher, Millage, Gallagher; Brian Glaser of Black Hawk College; Eric Hansotia of John Deere Harvester Works; Thomas King of QCR Holdings; James Legare of Northwest Bank & Trust; Mindy Marthens of University of Iowa MBA for Professionals & Managers; Tim McKinnon of End Result; Nicole McWilliams of Pension Inc; Joel Moore of Trinity Visiting Nurse & Homecare Association; Dr. Ahmed Okba of Medical Arts Associates Ltd.; Tim Perkins of The National Bank; Robert Reagan of Cambridge Junior/Senior High School; Mikkie Schiltz of Lane & Waterman; Dave Sheffield of Sheffield Development Group; Brian Wegerer of KJWW Engineering Consultants; and Chad Witter of Witter Consulting Group.
