A Moline man is facing residential burglary and sexual assault charges after a break-in Monday night at a home on Railroad Avenue.
Manual Figueroa, 27, of 617 26th St., was arrested by Moline police at his home after the incident that occurred shortly before midnight in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue.
Figueroa was charged in Rock Island County Circuit Court Tuesday with two felony counts and had his next court date set for April 1. He was being held at the Rock Island County Jail Tuesday on $100,000 bond.
According to court records, Figueroa allegedly forced his way into the residence, held a woman down and threatened to kill her.
Illinois State Police Crime Scene technicians processed the crime scene and the Department of Child and Family Services was contacted because children were in the home during the alleged assault.
