Alzheimer’s Association offers training class

The Alzheimer’s Association will host a training class for program coordinators and staff developers who work with Alzheimer’s patients on Thursday, March 27, at the Milan (Ill.) Community Center, 2701 1st St. E. Registration will be at 8 a.m., with class from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The course will prepare trainers to teach four one-hour modules as mandated by the State of Illinois for staffers working in dementia special care units of skilled nursing facilities.

The course fee of $90 includes a training manual, breakfast and lunch. Continuing education units are available for an additional $10. To register, call (563) 324-1022.
