Smoking ban presents an irony

There are thousands of soldiers fighting for freedom for the Iraqi and Afghan people. These soldiers, after 12 to 14 months of deployment, come home to the United States (the land of freedom), and treat themselves to a night on the town.
They go to one of the gambling boats and light up a smoke. A security guard comes up and says, “Sorry soldier, but you aren’t allowed to smoke in this establishment anymore. This freedom has been taken away from you.”
So, the soldier heads to his old watering hole, lights up a cigarette, and the owner of the bar says, “Sorry, soldier, but you aren’t allowed . . . .” I think we all know where this is going. Ironic?
