Woodfire Grill  will open March 18 in the Redstone Building, 131 W. 2nd St., Davenport. The restaurant  replaces Centro, which closed Dec. 31, according to River Music Experience, or RME, the non-profit organization that owns portions of the Redstone Building.

The restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The lounge will have extended hours and a full menu and bar selection.

The dining room seats 225 people; the banquet room can accommodate private parties of 50-60.

According to a news release, Woodfire Grill owner Toby Christianson has facilitated restaurant openings in Minnesota, North Dakota and Iowa and worked in the San Diego catering scene. Executive chef Blake Schar and sous chef Brooke Knox bring restaurant experience from Arizona, Michigan, Chicago, Denver and New York.
