School tax vote is today

Voters in Scott and Muscatine counties go to the polls today to decide whether their school districts should continue to have a 1-cent sales tax for construction projects.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at general election polling places throughout Scott County. To find your polling place, go to scottcountyiowa. com/auditor/precinct_finder.php on the Web. For Muscatine County, go to co.muscatine.ia.us/departments/ aud_pol.shtml.
In Scott County, the vote will affect the Davenport, Bettendorf, Pleasant Valley and North Scott School districts.
