Accident slows traffic on River Drive

An accident about 5:45 p.m. today on West River Drive in Davenport is slowing traffic in that area.
Traffic on eastbound River Drive is being diverted to Division Street, while one westbound lane remains open.
Police are investigating the accident between a car and a semi-trailer. An ambulance was called for the driver of the car.
