WAPELLO, Iowa — The Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission will complete a comprehensive plan for Wapello, with the first meeting to begin discussions on the plan at 9 a.m. today at the Briggs Civic Center.
The city council formally agreed to the plan after meeting with SEIRPC Executive Director Brian Tapp. The public meeting had been planned earlier in anticipation of the council’s decision.
The commission’s fee for the plan will not exceed $9,000. It is expected to be completed by April 2009.
