Nature workshop comes to area

The Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House will hold Nature Across the Curriculum: Adventures with Audubon from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 8 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport.

The workshop is geared toward teachers and focuses on using ecology, animal behavior and habitats to center lessons plans around animals.

Cost is $45, and teachers have the option to pay an additional $100 to earn one hour credit through Aurora University.
