Two Davenport men were in custody Sunday evening after they allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail into a Davenport home in the 2500 block of Glen Street.

Bobby T. Marsh, 18, and Nikolay Y. Stikhin, 21, were each charged with first-degree arson and were being held at the Scott County Jail, Davenport police said.

The incident happened sometime between 5:30 and 6:42 a.m., Cpl. Martin Lopez said. The suspects allegedly threw a glass bottle filled with an unknown fuel and burning wick into the home, knowing it was occupied, Lopez added.

No one inside was injured and details about why the men did it were not immediately available.
