A Bettendorf manufacturing company has a new leader.

The Schebler Co. 5665 Fenno Road, has announced that Jim Anderson has joined the company as president and chief executive officer. Anderson recently held the positions of chief operating officer and executive vice president at Genesis Robotic Systems in Davenport.

“Jim brings unique capabilities to Schebler in the areas of operational management, marketing, sales, product development, strategic planning and organizational design” Chairman Paul Rhines said.

Before Anderson and his family relocated to the Quad-Cities in 1998, he was the executive vice president at ITW Miller Electric Co., a leading supplier of welding solutions. He also was vice president of welding equipment and engineering for ITW Hobart Brothers Co.; president of Hobart Lasers & Advanced Systems; director of sales and marketing for Ferranti Sciaky in Chicago; and welding engineer at Caterpillar Tractor Co.

“I am please to be joining an excellent team at Schebler,” Anderson said. “I look forward to helping build on their previous successes and strong history of customer satisfaction.”

Anderson serves on the board of directors of DavenportOne and was the chairman of the Davenport Downtown Partnership for three years. He also is involved with Junior Achievement and serves as president of Pleasant Valley Stingrays swim team.

The Schebler Co. has four operating divisions that provide food manufacturing equipment, residential and commercial heating /cooling solutions, industrial chimney systems and general fabrication services.
