Clinton woman injured when car enters ditch

DeWITT, Iowa — A Clinton woman was treated for minor injuries after her car went off an exit ramp and into a ditch during Thursday’s snow storm.

Ashley L. Wagner, 19, was westbound on U.S. 30 after

4 p.m. Thursday when the 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier she was driving lost traction on the snowy surface of the northbound U.S. 61 off-ramp, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

Her car entered the east ditch and struck a box culvert.

Wagner was taken by ambulance to Genesis Medical Center-DeWitt, where she was treated and released.
