Donahue, Iowa man died from natural causes

DONAHUE, Iowa — A Donahue man whose body was discovered in the backyard of his home died from natural causes, the Scott County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
John E. Russ, 59, of 107 N. Main St., died Saturday, and an investigation into the death was begun by sheriff’s investigators.
Russ’ death was classified as suspicious until an autopsy could be performed. The preliminary medical examiner’s report indicates Russ died of natural causes and that no further investigation into the death is warranted, the Sheriff’s Department reported.
