Child pornography found on a computer at a Muscatine, Iowa, homeless shelter has led federal authorities to arrest two men.

Christopher Lee Collins and Scott Allen McKillip are charged in U.S. District Court with possession of child pornography.

According to court documents:

The director of the Muscatine Center for Social Action contacted the Muscatine Police Department in October with a report of child pornography discovered on a center computer. By analyzing log-ins, detectives identified Collins as a suspect.

In an interview, Collins admitted to viewing the porn and attempting to print pictures, saying they came from a disk from McKillip. A search warrant at McKillip’s home revealed pictures and video downloaded from the Internet.

The images included depictions of girls being raped by men.

Collins said McKillip introduced him to child pornography about a year ago. “McKillip would show Collins ‘whatever new thing’ McKillip had, with regard to child pornography, every once in awhile,” the complaint states. “McKillip was ‘heavy into bestiality’ and more dabbled in child pornography. Collins believed that McKillip obtained his child pornography files from the Internet by using Kazaa.”

Kazaa is a peer-to-peer filing sharing service.

Collins told authorities “that McKillip acted as kind of a mentor to Collins with regard to child pornography. Collins felt McKillip was trying to cultivate an interest in child pornography with Collins.”

McKillip told authorities he was first introduced to child pornography in his late teens. He would view the “Raygold” series, which involved children between the ages of 10 and 13. McKillip said he was mad that Collins took the disk. “He was not mad about his property being taken,” the complaint says. “Rather, he ‘didn’t want this to get out about me because it would cause me nothing but grief."
