Port Byron, Ill., school receives donation for playground

The River Cities Rotary Club donated $5,000 to the Riverdale School Playground project. This is the first donation received for the $60,000 safe playground project.
The project was begun by Melissa Battern, who is the elementary school physical education teacher in the Riverdale School District.
