Every time I read an opinion by Bob Malito, (‘Malito letters are a joy to read, sort of,’ from Hank Reimers,

Oct. 1)  I get very angry and annoyed at the blind support such people give to their parties. He accuses the “left” of being more concerned with their party instead of the country and then comments that the Republicans are the only party that cares about America. His opinion is neither right nor wrong, but just opinion.

I can only provide my alternate opinion to his opinion. It too is neither right nor wrong, but a plain and simple differing opinion.

What I can say is both parties are more concerned with their party politics then this country’s needs. Both parties equally abuse the Constitution and violate our rights in America. The parties only concern themselves with winning support from their party base instead of really being concerned with the issues.

Both parties concern themselves with propaganda. They care not about the down-trodden, the helpless, and the poor. They insult our soldiers in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

In the end, all the parties do is split the country into Blue and Red States, never doing what is needed for America. So, all I can say is this: We must stop the fighting or lose the war and continue working on making America better than what it is, because neither the “right” nor the “left” will ever protect our country.
