The J.C Penney Afterschool Fund is awarding grants to Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley in an effort to increase access for financially disadvantaged youth to after school programs.

Money from the grants will cover the expense of attending a club, including staff supervision by full-time, trained youth development professionals, transportation, snacks and more. Each mini-grant recipient will receive a $50 J.C. Penney gift card to help with the purchase of clothing and school supplies for the upcoming year.
