Huckabee’s band to hit surf

Republican Mike Huckabee’s rock band Capitol Offense is set to appear at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake later this month.
The band will play Friday, Oct. 26, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more information, call (515) 288-3745.
Huckabee also announced this week he had scored the endorsement of state Rep. Dwayne Alons, R-Hull.
