TODAY: (Updated 5:32 p.m.) The Davenport Police Department released its annual report Tuesday, detailing crime statistics and other safety issues within the city for 2006.
The report is a follow-up to an April announcement that crime had decreased 10 percent in the city for two reasons: an actual decrease and a new way of reporting calls to the department.
