The Figge Art Museum has earned the Lorraine B. Wright Distinguished Award of Excellence from the Quad-City Chapter 50 of the National Association of Women in Construction. Ceremonies were held Aug. 16 at St. Ambrose University, Davenport.
“This is a fabulous honor for the Figge,” said Sean O’Harrow, the museum’s executive director. “This award further confirms the museum as a significant work of architecture and perhaps the finest new art museum building in the country. This is a proud moment for the civic architecture in the Quad-Cities.”
