Scott County

Monday: Chicken with gravy, rice, pickled beets, roll and Boston cream pie

Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, breadstick and a oatmeal raisin bar

Wednesday: Chicken, potatoes with gravy, carrots, roll, cake with icing and ice cream

Thursday: Catfish with tarter sauce, macaroni and cheese bake, salad, corn bread and pudding

Friday: Turkey with gravy, potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole and fruit cocktail

Center for Active Seniors Center — Call (563) 386-7477 at least 24 hours in advance for reservations. A suggested donation of $2.75 per meal for guests 60 years and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60, is requested.

Generations Area Agency on Aging — Call (563) 324-9085 at least 24 hours in advance for reservations. Serving times and open days vary at each of the meal sites. A suggested donation of $2.75 for guests 60 and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60, is requested.

Friendly House — The menus for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday also will be served at 11:30 a.m. at Friendly House, 1221 Myrtle St., Davenport. A suggested donation of $2.75 per meal for guests 60 and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60, is requested. Call Jodi at (563) 323-1821 by 11:30 a.m. the preceding day to make reservations.

West Park Presbyterian Church — The menu for Tuesday also will be served at noon at West Park Presbyterian Church, 4209 W. Locust St., Davenport. Call (563) 391-0236 for reservations.

Rock Island County

Monday: Hot dog on a bun, baked beans, carrots and a brownie

Tuesday: Illini rite on a bun, coleslaw, banana and tapioca pudding

Wednesday: Fish, carrots, peaches, garden rice and a peanut butter cookie

Thursday: Pork tenderloin on a bun, peas, applesauce and chocolate chip cookie

Friday: Ham, sweet potatoes, green and wax bean, pumpernickel bread and cake

Project NOW Senior Centers — Meals are available at Project NOW’s 13 social centers throughout Rock Island County for a suggested donation of $2.25. (Project NOW’s home-delivered meal program offers essentially the same menu as noted here with a suggested donation of $3.) Menus for special diets are available. To find the location of a senior social center near you, call (309) 788-6335. A 24-hour advance notice is best, although walk-ins are welcome.
