Grandparents and Others United for Positive Change will present a child abuse awareness concert at 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at River Music Experience, 129 Main St., Davenport. Admission is $10 at the door or $8 if tickets are purchased in advance.

Donations from the event will go to the Child Protection Center, Family Resources and Life at Night. The event will feature photography and music projects based on the theme “There is more to life than this, it is love and I will find it.” The photography and music at the concert will serve to illuminate the issue at hand or simply glorify the life of a child.

Fifty signed prints by Life at Night founder Ralph Iaccarino will be auctioned off at the event to benefit the child abuse awareness cause. For more information, call Anna Schwenneker at (309) 292-7790 or e-mail aschwenneker@hotmail.com. Or, go to rivermusic
