Letter: Help wanted to find stolen coin purse

This letter is to the person who picked up my pink and black cloth coin purse at a garage sale on May 17 in the 1100 block of 14th Street in Bettendorf.

In that coin purse is my life. My driver’s license, insurance cards, Social Security cards, Medicare card, prescription card, all my gift certificate cards (Wallace’s garden center, Walgreens gift certificate), many pictures and lots of memories for me only — they don’t apply to you. There was about $60 in the case. You can keep the money, just return the case to my address. You know it because you have my driver’s license.

Everything has been cancelled or changed so you cannot use the credit cards. I am lost without my coin purse. Please, I am asking that if you know anything about this or you have the purse, return it and keep the money. I will thank you in advance for being a decent citizen.

Kathy Smith, Bettendorf
