Public offices and services affected by the Memorial Day holiday weekend include:

Federal — Post offices will be closed Monday, with no home mail delivery.

MetroLINK — The transit service will not operate Monday.

Iowa cities and counties

Bettendorf — City offices will be closed Monday. All garbage collection, including recycling, bulky and yard waste, will be one day later all week, to include Saturday. All materials should be left curbside by 7 a.m. Transit service will not operate Monday. The Bettendorf Public Library, Family Museum, Herbert D. Goettsch Community Center, parks and recreation administrative office and Life Fitness Center will be closed. Palmer Grill Restaurant will be open regular hours. Palmer Hills Golf Course will be open, weather permitting.

Clinton — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day later all week, to include Saturday.

Davenport — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup will be one day later all week, to include Saturday. The public works center, library, VanderVeer Botanical Park Conservatory, Alder Theatre box office and compost facility also will be closed. CitiBus will not operate. Parking meters will not be enforced. There will be no charge to park at the Redstone parking ramp, 101 Main St.; RiverCenter parking ramp, 102 E. 2nd St.; and Harrison Street ramp, 202 Harrison St.

Eldridge — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day later all week.

LeClaire — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day later all week.

Scott County Courthouse — County offices will be closed Monday.

Iowa driver’s license stations — Offices will be closed Monday.

Iowa Workforce Center — Offices will be closed Monday.

Illinois cities and counties

East Moline — City offices will be closed Monday. Monday garbage collection will be Tuesday.

Moline — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day late all week.

Milan — City offices will be closed Monday.

Rock Island — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day later all week, to include Saturday.

Silvis — City offices will be closed Monday. Garbage collection will be one day later all week.

Rock Island County Courthouse — County offices will be closed Monday.

Illinois Job Services — Offices will be closed Monday.

Illinois Driver’s License Stations — Offices will be closed Saturday in observance of Memorial Day. The office always is closed on Mondays.
