(Updated 10:21 a.m.) Voters in Illinois are going to the polls today in community and school board elections. Polls are open until 7 p.m.
Many communities are electing council members, and various school districts are electing board members today. In addition, tax referendums are on the ballot, including in East Moline, where residents are deciding whether to authorize the issuance of $39.5 million of alternate bonds for improving and extending the city’s water and sewer system.
