Food writer Levine develops new Web site

Ed Levine — food writer, blogger (Ed Levine Eats) and NPR regular — has joined forces with a few of his favorite blogs and Web sites — A Hamburger Today, Slice, the Amateur Gourmet, Megnut, Roadfood and A Full Belly — to create Seriouseats.com.
The site, which went live Dec. 4, is a blend of video, blogs, photos and feature stories, as well as a place to send a tip or get a question answered.
“I hope that we all can become the missionaries of the delicious,” Levine says. And, he points out, where else can you see “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Susie Essman having lunch with food writer and “Iron Chef America” guest judge Jeffrey Steingarten? On his site, you can watch it on video.
