Attorneys selected as finalists for judge post

Davenport attorneys Marlita Greve and Steven Jacobs have been selected as finalists to replace retiring 7th Judicial District Judge John Nahra.
Greve and Jacobs were nominated Friday during a meeting of the 7th Judicial District Nomination Commission.
Greve and Jacobs were chosen from among the 15 attorneys who applied for the post.
It is now up to Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack to name which of the two nominees will fill the judicial post.
